Why majority of indians dont eat beef?. Response to maharastra beef ban. Based on Tamilian Perspective and Experience.

First of all, This post is purely based on my first hand experience with cows and bulls in southern state of india Tamilnaadu. I dont have much experience with buffaloes however.

This is also my response to beef ban in maharashtra, However I dont have information or real background of the ban as I dont belong to that state and I dont trust as much the media as most of it are hyped to get ratings and readerships..

To me right from my child hood,

I have NOT seen another animal or any living creature that has been so much important to the lives of humans atleast in tamilnadu. Cows and Bulls have every right to be revered several levels more than any kind of pets.

There are many countries/states in the world which ban certain animals for killing of consumption as meat. While same animals have been killed and consumed for meat in other parts of the world. Look up the internet you will find several US states and european states banning animals to be consumed for meat. There were restaurants serving the same kind of meat which was later forced to close and stamped illegal.
Is it OK for them to say what should be on people's plates?

Cows are amazing animals, which plays important role right from the birth to the death of humans. Right from birth they give milk and when one dies, dried cow dung is used to burn the body. in between there are numerous ways that a cow/bull benefits human being. There has been controversies on using cow's urine, but it is proven that it has superb medicinal qualities, and scientific world realizes it now , there are many researches going to use that cure many incurable diseases. As part of our culture... NOT RELIGION we use cow's urine for several reasons...  Entire life source of human being in that part of the world was dependent on the cows and bull. In tamil the right word is Vaazhvaathaaram..

Typical day at my parents village will be like this, women get up early around 4:30 ..boil the paddy.. to create boiled rice.. the husks are used to create something called thavidu..and then its used to feed the cows and bulls. Wash the area of cows and bulls, Take the cow dungs flatten to a circular shape and gets dried on the walls, Dried ones are then further used as fuel....The cow's urine along with curd(yogurt) will be used as natural pesticide and also as fertilizer in field, The bulls are used for bullock carts as means of transportation.. and then it is also used to plow the fields.. Back at home cow's milk are taken fresh everyday after letting calf drink enough..then boiled used to prepare coffee or tea or just plain milk for kids....Few have fermented rice with buttermilk for breakfast....again butter milk is from the same cow.. Then afternoon.. lunch mandatory also will have curd.yogurt....which was the most important food item responsible for overall health of humans in several aspects. Also butter and ghee.. In our culture.. again not religion.. Ghee is an important ingredient.. which comes from cow.. not from AMUL.... then evening coffee tea or just plain milk.. This natural cow's milk is only next to mother's milk.. nothing else comes close.. then night.. also before sleep kids drink plain milk..
This is just few of the benefits that we receive from cows and bulls but all are significant..

Every cows and bulls are named.. typical names are lakshmi, kaamatchi etc. Each and every cows were treated more than any pets ..they are treated as part of their family.. They celebrate several occasions during different stages of any cow or bull's life.. like they do for their own family members. ..I have personally seen cow's cry when anything bad happens in the family.. or if cow's favorite person in family is upset or something like that...Every cow and bull have their own individual characters..some are aggressive some.. are calm caring..

I dont think there is any other animal which is full of heart and so much beneficial to human beings at least in that part of the world. After enjoying all these benefits and having them as part of their family, how can they kill those animals atleast in that part of the world.. This is a sentiment that can be expected from all the countrymen who may have experienced these immense benefits. They are just being thankful to a creature that has benefited them immensely and lived with them day and night....These kinds of things comes purely out of culture and way of lives...
These treating cows as mother.. komadha everything is apt.. It should not be associated to a religion... For that matter.. I dont believe in religion or grouping people and say that since you practice that culture you belong to that religion and so..
These kinds of things are part of culture and sentiments..We treat cows next only to our mothers.. because of all that sacrifice that she is doing for us...

Few may ask why this is important..  I believe sentiments like make one live like humans... respect women, respect kids, respect elders and be a responsible person.
It helps him live a fulfilled and contented life.

Many countries and states all over the world ban killing of certain animals and for human consumptions for reason not even close to the reasons that i mentioned above.. We dont see any wrong with that..

Is it because we feel that   we, our sentiments, our traditions are inferior to other country?
Is it because we dont have that much exposure to all the culture and traditions or realities in life?
Is it because most of us dont care about all these minute things and just go with the flow?
Is it because many of us are hypnotized by so called conspiracy called "Religion" which was coined to prove who is superior and who is inferior ..then to dominate people and use for wrong reasons?
Is it because india is so diverse and just beliefs are so drastically different?
Is it because many of us dont think the big picture.. and think milk, curd, buttermilk,yogurt comes from aavin or amul from factory created by machines.?

Whatever it is, I beg you all  to see this issue out of all these religion/media conspiracy/politics.
Please support people's sentiments.. If majority of maharastrians really cannot see cows and bulls killed for human consumption, please respect their sentiments..

Irony is.. same people who is showing the opposition for this ban.. will stand with the ban if it is a different animal... everybody has reasons and sentiments.. Please respect them.

Lingaa Superstar Rajinikanth Fan Detailed Rant and Response. Part 1

ALL MY STATEMENTS BELOW ARE NOT FROM JUST ONE TIME WATCH!!!!.. I WATCHED THE MOVIE TWICE TO CONFIRM IF MY STATEMENTS ARE CORRECT!!.. EACH EVERY TIME I FELT THE SAME AND ENJOYED THE MOVIE.. MOST REVIEWERS CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE WATCHED JUST ONCE THAT TOO FIRST DAY WITH ALL THE FAN FARE SOUNDS ETC...

THESE ARE MY HUMBLE THOUGHTS.. THIS MOVIE SHOULD NOT BE A FLOP MOVIE..

Why was lingaa a flop movie? . 

This movie is as entertaining if not more than some of other rajinikanth's movie. 

This is just a rant of a long time fan of Mr.Rajinikanth, and a response as a small token of thanks for the superstar for entertaining us tamilians for all these years. 

Issues discussed in the video are,

1. Movie was not running in enough theaters and many could not see it.

2. How can a movie that is not played in enough theaters for enough time can be considered a hit or flop movie?

3. When people asked about the movie, almost everyone reads or listens reviews from the internet or magazines and say whatever the reviewers say.. They don't say what they really felt by themselves truly. Even if they liked the movie, if a reviewer says bad, they echo the same. for some reason they are not comfortable saying good movie if somebody else says its bad in the internet. It has become a fashion these days to say a movie is bad.. mokkai movie..many think that it elevates their taste for cinema.

4. Reviewers don't seem to talk from a common man perspective. Highly technical and complex.. They search for problems to prove that they are intelligent.

5. Audience even if they liked they say it is not like rajini's previous movie. This has happened in almost all of his movies previously.

6. One reviewer said, They did not like rajini acting as a thief. That may be a valid reason.. but I did not notice that as an issue, it was fun and jolly time the entire first half.

7. One reviewer said, the heist in the hotel is not clear in the first half..I am not sure what is it to understand... It has come in many movies.. I suspect they missed few dialogues.. of course you can't see logic in such scenes. Compare Oceans Eleven or Twelve or any other heist movies.. there will not be logic.. look for just fun.. May be they were expecting something different..

8. Key scene has been lifted from some other english movie.. Its good that people in the internet are pointing out the copied scenes.. Such a small copy scene cannot conclude the failure of the movie for the majority of demographics.

9. Mona song.. Its already a hit and awesome song.I don't have to say more about it.. Picturization was very good.. and singers did an awesome job and it was a pure entertainment.. It is really disappointing that no reviewers pointed this out. You can watch that song any number of time for rajini and all other factors..

10. I did not expect much from Ms.Sonakshi sinha.. But surprisingly and unexpectedly, She pulled off an fantastic acting and it was really entertaining the whole flashback.

11. Second Half , the raja rajini times..was very moving and very intense. I can see people around me too enjoyed it very much..Especially the village people in search of rajini, finds rajini in an extraordinary situation..and it was just out of the world scene and very moving..Few of us got very emotional not because of the condition that rajini was in..just the scene was perfect when he says He is living happily there and he also asked sonakshi and she said ok...... That too that song was perfectly placed and I think its one the best composition for the situation song. "Unmai oru naal vellum" what a song.. hats off to ARR and Haricharan.. Just fantastic and it really gave goosebumps..Some say music is not good.. i just cannot understand.. first off all people cannot watch rajini movie properly during the first few days...How can they possibly give review based on that.. 

12. Apart from all these, The story, the story writers choice of subject, villagers plight etc etc.. are very relevant to current times, not sure if people connected to it or related themselves.. 

Whichever way you look at this movie, this movie is certainly a  great movie compared to many other movies. There are some minor BGM mistakes like in that pulavar and rajini scene.... but reviewers cannot trash the movie just because of those minor reasons..I seriously did not mind those but just enjoyed the response from rajini..

13. Some reviewers say. that villain is not powerful like other movies of rajini, Is there any rule like that?.. It feels like they are trying desperately find fault in a movie or they expected another remake of baasha or padayappa.. How can a director do a remake..?. They wanted to show something totally different and fun for rajini in this movie. If villain has to be powerful for a rajini movie to be a hit.. Who is the villain in Chandramukhi?.. We should leave all those and see if we got out paisa vasool on this movie..I would say we got more entertainment than we paid for it.. I will surely look at this movie legally many more times..

14. Finally many say.. that the stunt is very artificial.. I just cannot understand this.. One should see the character that rajini is playing in this movie, we all know he is older than that other heroes.. While young actors use stunt doubles for such scenes.. why not rajini do it..? For your information there are many hollywood who use stunt double for an easy situation.. one clear stunt double which very close to the lingo scene that i can think of is  Terminator 2 Judgement day..I have attached the picture of the same in this video. I am sure.. the original and majority of the audiences would not have noticed this.. all these so called reviewers who claim themselves to be intelligent and people who claim to be raising the quality of entertainment.. and who consider themselves are class audience.. found this as problem.. I don't agree there is a separate classes of audiences.. its just some people like some .. some people like different.. I am very sure there will be people who liked those scenes and enjoyed.. Please respect them.. after all thats what matters in a rajini movie..

15. Another issue .. balloon fight..again artificial superficial.. I have attached the picture from armor of god.. where jackie chan jumps and lands on a balloon.. Sure people have enjoyed that with claps then certainly...both are not possible in real life... movies are exaggeration from real life... How can that be ok.. if jackie chan does its ok.. and not ok if rajinikanth does the same. 

After all.. they made this movie only for tamilian and other indians.. We have seen rajinikanth for so long..  We all love him.. I am sure many loved this movie.. Surely because of few reviewers and may be some conspiracy behind this, people started talking bad about the movie, or may be the expectations for the initial viewers were way too high...or they were expecting a remake of a baasha movie or padayappa movie may have disappointed.. atleast as an audience i think movie should have been in theaters for few more weeks to gauge the real success of this movie.

I feel i owe for all the awesome entertainment i received from Mr. Rajinikanth and he does not deserve all this negative publicity that is going on in the internet. I am just trying to do whatever I can. 

I owe this kind of reaction to three top entertainers and a great human beings regardless of who they are born as or what religion or which state they belong of our generation. 

1) Mr. Rajinikanth 2) Mr. Sachin Tendulkar 3) Mr. A R Rahman

I am just paying back to them for all the immense entertainment received..

Part 2 link will be updated soon covering several issues that is going on around Mr.rajini.. For some reason i am seeing lots of negative publicity for rajini very convincingly written even though most of them totally baseless and contentless.. Just relying on few people who were made to dislike rajini for no reason and passing on the hatred.. I again say this rajinikanth does not deserve this negative publicity.
